Steps for Application for German Study Visa-
Identify the area of jurisdiction which applies to the student's state of residence.
Identify the Visa type
There are two types of visa issued by the German government based on the duration of stay.
Book visa appointment online
Open a blocked account with deposit of 10,513 EUR to secure accommodation and living in Germany
Completion of documentation
It is mandatory to carry three sets of required documents* for the visa appointment wherein two sets of photocopies and 1 set of original documents
The list of documents might vary depending on each student's course and qualification
Visit your nearest SIEC branch to know more about the list of documents
Submit Visa application Student needs to submit their application either at Germany High Commission or at VFS Global Application Centre
Pay the Visa application fee
Mode of paying visa fee could be different for different areas of jurisdiction, listed below are accepted:
