Post-Study Work options in Singapore

Singapore does not offer a dedicated post-study work visa comparable to Canada's PGWP or Australia's Temporary Graduate Visa. Eligible graduates from autonomous universities may apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) that allows them to remain in Singapore for up to one year to seek employment, subject to prevailing eligibility criteria. Once employed, pass graduates typically transition to an appropriate work pass such as:

Employment Pass (EP): Professionals who secure a qualifying job offer and meet salary and eligibility requirements may apply for an EP.

S Pass: Available for eligible mid-skilled employees with a qualifying job offer, subject to prevailing salary and employer quota requirements.

Entre Pass: is intended for eligible entrepreneurs who wish to establish and operate an innovative business in Singapore and meet the scheme's qualifying criteria.

Final Words

Singapore continues to strengthen its digital economy through investments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, fintech, digital transformation and advanced manufacturing. An Computing or Information Technology degree from Singapore provides internationally recognised qualifications, strong industry exposure and access to career opportunities in one of Asia's most advanced technology ecosystems.
